I was on walk to get some groceries after getting my hot chocolate, some of you know how much I like hot chocolate. I was waiting to cross the road and then there was old lady wearing beautiful jacket, who looked at me and said sooooo cold, yes it was dammmm cold that day in melbourne with very cold winds, and we started our conversation.

She mentioned that her son is coming to Melbourne from Queensland and that she asked him bring a tough jacket for this weather and we laughed. Then I asked about Queensland if it is warmer over there, she told me about the weather and about awesome views in Queensland.

Then the actual conversation started, She mentioned how she lived in Melbourne for long time until her husband asked her to ‘pack our bags we are going to Queensland’. I felt sooo happy for her, I was like thats sooooo cool :) Then she mentioned after moving there, her husband died. You guys should see her face, when she was telling, my heart was crying. For a second, she was happy and then life hits hard.

I felt sooo sorry for her and gave a big hug. Our walk continued and then she mentioned that she is half blinded, her left eye is blind and even with right eye she can only see half and near things. I was in surprise how she is walking on the roads with that kind of eye sight. When she said how she lost it, I literally got goosebumps on my skin.

This happened when her husband was alive. On one normal day, the wife and husband, slept and next day when she woke up, she felt like something is covering her left eye. She asked her husband if something is on top of her eye, her husband laughed and said ‘nothing dear’. She went to GP clinic, even the doctor said ‘nothing, everything is normal’. So next day she went to some Acupuncture or natural healing stuff and she said the whole thing to the healer, he immediately called emergency services. Then after that they came to know that its some form of arthritis that happens to the eyes(she told me the name of that arthritis, but couldn’t remember it).

What surprises me is that it happened just like that, she slept on a very normal day and woke up with that.

I mean that gave me a really valuable lesson, Each day is really valuable, you never know what you wake up to next day. Don’t spend on wasteful things or on people that hurt you and finally don’t take anything for granted, enjoy every minute of your life. Finally don’t worry about silly things and enjoy your life :)
